Such innovative designs which facilitate simple day to day cleaning, reduce the use of detergents and the excessive use of water. The reduction of water consumption due to improving water efficiency in wc’s has also been a major contributor to the “Think Green” policy.
Catalano is also constantly monitoring and improving every aspect in the process of manufacturing, such as pre-production, transportation, use and recycling phases. Some of the latest and most significant achievements include the increase of solar power plant capacity which has enabled the factory to independently produce part of the energy used in the production process, and also the launch of an innovative nanotechnology glazing treatment that significantly improves the product’s life cycle. In October 2015, the second stage of the solar power plant was completed which added more than 3000 new panels and increased the energy production from 3% to 25% of the total energy requirements.
